Je kunt verzoeken dat Texel Treasures je gegevens wijzigt, verbetert, aanvult, verwijdert of afschermt.

Beperken van de verwerking

Je hebt daarnaast, onder voorwaarden, het recht om Texel Treasures te verzoeken de verwerking van je persoonsgegevens te beperken.

Recht van bezwaar

Als een bepaalde verwerking op grond van het ‘gerechtvaardigd belang’ van Texel Treasures of een derde plaatsvindt, heb je het recht om bezwaar te maken tegen die verwerking.

General Terms and Conditions

Reservations

The confirmation of your reservation will be sent by email within a few days. Your reservation in one of the Texel Treasures holiday homes is final once you have received confirmation from the park. The confirmation also serves as proof of reservation.

Payment

Within 2 weeks of receiving the confirmation, you must pay 50% of the due amount. The remaining balance can be transferred to our bank account no later than one month before arrival. You can also log in to "My Reservation" and pay the 2nd installment via i-Deal.

If you make a reservation within six weeks before arrival, the entire amount must be paid at once. If you pay after the indicated payment terms, you will receive a reminder. If there is no response to this, you run the risk of having your reservation canceled. However, costs will still be due as indicated in the HISWA-RECRON terms and conditions.

Arrival and Departure

On the agreed arrival day, you can enter your rented accommodation after 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, we would appreciate receiving the key back before or by 10:00 AM.

Additional Accommodation Costs

Final cleaning, bed linen, and tourist tax are mandatory when renting accommodation. The cost of the final cleaning depends on the house you rent.

Groups and Youth

Groups are of course welcome after consultation. Please indicate this directly when making your reservation. A security deposit may be requested from groups upon arrival at the park. This security deposit will be refunded after your stay, after inspection of the accommodations, after deduction of any costs incurred.

Reservations with youth traveling alone are always by request. A security deposit may also apply here.

Maximum Allowed Persons

The use of the reserved accommodation with more than the maximum number of permitted persons for the accommodation (including children and babies) as stated on the website is not allowed. 1 baby in addition to the maximum number of persons is permitted. In this case, the entrepreneur may deny the (co-)renter the use of the accommodation. They have no right to a refund. It is not permitted to receive visitors or let them stay overnight without prior approval from the entrepreneur.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed at Texel Treasures for a fee. Maximum 1 dog per house. Other pets are not allowed.

Agreements for a Pleasant Stay

All guests must adhere to the rules established by us. You can read the rules in our guest app or in the information folder under the house rules of your accommodation.

(Use of) Accommodation

Condition of the accommodation and nature of use:

• The accommodation is made available to the (co-)renter in good condition. If the (co-)renter is of the opinion that this is not the case, they must report this immediately to the reception at Bleekersvallei.
• The landlord is obliged to treat the accommodation and its inventory with care. The tenant will leave the rented property in a tidy condition upon departure. All damage caused by the landlord or co-landlord to the accommodation must be reported by the landlord to the reception of the park before departure and must be paid immediately.
• If the accommodation is not left clean or is damaged, the entrepreneur is entitled to offset his damages against the security deposit.
• The accommodation may only be used by the tenant for recreational purposes, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Recreational purposes explicitly do not include the use by the tenant of the accommodation during the period that one or more of the users of that accommodation(s) is/are carrying out work, whether paid or unpaid and whether within or outside employment. Permanent residence is not permitted.

Cancellation by the Tenant

If you cannot make use of the accommodation reserved for you, you owe the following amounts, which are based on the HISWA-RECRON terms and conditions:

• For cancellation up to 3 months before the arrival date: 15% of the agreed price.
• Up to 2 months before the arrival date: 50%,
• Up to 1 month before the arrival date: 75%,
• Within 1 month before the arrival date: 90%,
• On the day of arrival: 100% of the agreed price.

We therefore advise you to take out cancellation insurance. It is not possible to arrange this with us. You will then receive a full refund of the travel sum in case of cancellation for a valid reason.

Cancellation by the Entrepreneur

In case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the entrepreneur is entitled to cancel the reservation. Unforeseen circumstances and force majeure include, among other things:

• That the Accommodation is no longer suitable for rental (for example: due to water damage, fire, or breach of contract by the Accommodation Provider).
• That the Accommodation is no longer available (for example due to sudden sale of the Accommodation by the Accommodation Provider, a double booking, or bankruptcy of the Accommodation Provider). The entrepreneur will inform the landlord of this immediately, stating the reason, by telephone or in writing. In this case, he will try to offer an equivalent accommodation at the same travel sum. If no suitable alternative offer can be made, or the landlord does not agree with the offered alternative, the entrepreneur will proceed to refund the travel sum already paid in whole or in part, without the entrepreneur owing any compensation to the landlord.

Liability

Texel Treasures is not liable for: damage or injury arising as a result of the stay in one of the houses of Texel Treasures or through the use of the facilities present on the grounds; breakdown and/or decommissioning of facilities and/or provisions, unless there is demonstrable negligence on the part of Texel Treasures.

Laws and Regulations

HISWA-RECRON conditions for rental accommodations

Disputes Committee Should an unexpected problem arise between you and Texel Treasures that we cannot resolve together, you can approach the Recreation Disputes Committee. This was established on the initiative of HISWA-RECRON. In addition to HISWA-RECRON, the ANWB and the Consumers' Association also have seats on this committee. The chairperson is independent and is appointed by the Consumer Complaints Foundation.
