't Wambuis
Sleep in a national monument! Holiday home 't Wambuis is listed in the monument register. A beautiful home for six people, but can you imagine that this house was once inhabited by two large families? Until the early 20th century, 't Wambuis served as the so-called 'poor rooms' of the Reformed Church across the street. Living with two families was cramped, especially since the Hoornder fire engine was also stored there at the time. The exterior of the house is still completely intact and truly a sight to behold. The interior has been fully restored and furnished with a modern design that meets contemporary needs.
